WHERE do i even STARTttt....... im honestly not too sure where this love even comes from, even after almost 4 years of being a rui fan. i initially liked rui because i found him charming, but now, to me, even if im still kind of weird about him, he is more than just "the pretty dude in wxs". i consider rui to be a comfort character; he has helped me cope during really tough times. i find his story to be relatable. in a way, seeing him find a "home", kind of brought me comfort and hope as someone who was in a similar situation to his when he was younger. its genuinely just so sweet to see him finally blossom after feeling like hes just. too weird to be loved for so long. anddd idk man. my love for this character is so strong yet so mysterioussskfjsdfks. i just feel a sort of connection, which may sound silly to others, but this silly connection means a lot to me. i think his design is really pretty and iconic, my favorite parts about his design might be uhhh. the cyan streaks in his hair, and his eyes/eyeliner. theyre just so cute. and i just love how his face is always :3 or even :} jzhsdfjsdhjkfnm. and hes very elegant and princesslike. and i really like his vocals i think tokishun does a great job voicing him. hhis focus songs are always PEAK i love becoming potatoes so much it makes me oddly "nostalgic" for 2022 ensekai,, showtime ruler gets me all energized (i love rmd in general, elephant in the room NOT included tho), donnaketsu makes me emotional and makes me think a Lot about rui. and wxs. and the event and ufhdgnjfdhgj its just so peak, cyberpunk dead boy gets me all energized! i love it even if its not really related to the event. eyelid is so beautiful and i think everyoen sounds so cool in it and kugutsu no utsutsu is such a banger even if the event was lowkey fillerslop. i love celebrating his birthday SO SO MUCH!!! im excited for his birthday this year. i hope im able to celebrate his birthday for all years to come.
